JUDO RESEARCH INDUCTION COURSE

The Judo Research programme is a partnership between the IJF Academy and the University of Hertfordshire to prepare candidates to apply for the postgraduate MA/MSc by Research course. The Judo Research programme covers the knowledge and skills required to research judo related topics at the postgraduate level. Students will be supported to identify their own topics of interest and to develop processes to answer their burning research questions about judo. Successful students will develop a research proposal that can be pursued through a Master’s by Research degree.

AIM OF THE COURSE
To help students to formulate their research proposal so that after 10 weeks a research proposal can be submitted for enrolment. Accepted students may proceed to an interview for the Masters course.
COURSE DURATION
10 weeks online, including one hour per week seminar with the instructor.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
Applicants are recommended for the programme by the IJF Academy. Minimum of a university Bachelors Degree (normally with first or upper second class honours). English Language native speaker or IELTS 6.5 or equivalent.
